We saw a gap. A need for a smarter, cleaner, and more responsible way to handle the growing challenge of ensuring consistent water quality, predictable performance under variable conditions, and a clear pathway from produced water disposal to reuse. Oleava is built to close that gap, not just with better technology, but with a platform designed to reduce operational risk, lower lifecycle costs, and support responsible water management at scale.

Who We Are.

Oleava is founded by a team of engineers, water treatment specialists and innovators from the University of Toronto in Canada, united by a single purpose: to change the way the world thinks about difficult-to-handle oily water treatment. Our award-winning team brings together expertise in mechanical design, polymer science, and environmental systems. More importantly, we bring a shared passion for creating something truly game-changing.

Led by pioneers in sustainable water-energy technology, we are pushing boundaries, driven by the belief that oil industries can operate with greater efficiency, and with greater care for the world around them.

Much of it is contaminated with fine droplets of emulsified residual oil that standard treatments fail to fully remove.
